An opportunity has arisen within the Adult Social Care & Health Finance Team to deal with the administration and finance of the Direct payment pre-payment system.
Direct payments are payments made to Adult Social Care and Health supported individuals to enable them to purchase care from providers directly, in line with a care support plan agreed with their social worker.
The role includes the set up and management / monitoring of the Direct Payments pre-payment accounts and will involve supporting individuals to use the system / their accounts correctly.
We are looking for someone who is confident and skilled at communicating with individuals from a wide range of different backgrounds.
Specific full training will be given.
Candidates must have:
- Excellent numeracy and Excel Skills
- Be educated to A level standard
- Ability to work on own initiative and organise workload
- Excellent communicator with an enquiring mind
We will need:
- 2 years references
